  Students enrolled in our program will have access to care on these days—so parents and guardians don’t have to use precious PTO or sick days just because school is out.  There are more than 16 days this school year that Edison is CLOSED and WE ARE OPEN - so if you want to save your PTO you can simply enroll your students to join us for AT LEAST TWO DAYS per week for the school year and then CHOOSE which dates you need full-day programming.

We’re aiming to expand to a full-day program by Summer 2026 for families who need all-day care for school-age children. And here’s a bonus—families already enrolled in our Before & After Care program will get priority access to those summer spots!

Program Details for Before & After School Care

• Flexible Drop-Off & Pick-Up Times:  You choose the times that work best for your schedule each day. If your routine changes—we will allow an occasional early drop-off or late pick-up! We'll be using a time and date sign-in/sign-out system to track the exact number of hours your child is with us each week.  However, when registering, you will still need to select your "regular schedule" that you will be billed on a flat rate monthly basis for. This will allow you to select a TIME SLOT to drop off or pick up each day.  This ensures that you have that window of time to deal with traffic or quick stops along the way without having to worry about getting "nickle and dimed" for each minute. Anytime you drop off early or pick up late outside of your selected time slot, we will simply add those increased fees to your account to be paid on the following due date at the rate of $1.25 per every 15 minutes.  PLEASE NOTE:  There are NO DISCOUNTS if you pick up early or drop off late as our staff has to be onsite regardless.

• Coordinated with Edison Bussing:  Once Edison Schools releases their official transportation schedule, we’ll align our start and end times for each student based on their bus pick-up and drop-off times and adjust your account fees due accordingly. These times will become your child’s standard schedule with us for the remainder for the school year.

• Simple, Prepaid Monthly Billing OR Weekly Payment Options:  We operate on a monthly prepaid billing cycle. Your expected schedule for the upcoming month will be billed in advance and is due by the 1st of each month. Actual sign-in and sign-out times will be reviewed weekly, and adjustments (for early pick-ups or extended care) will be applied to your account to keep everything accurate and up-to-date.  IF you prefer to pay weekly or bi-weekly you are always welcome to login to your account and make payments at anytime OR drop off a check with our staff and it will be applied to your account typically within 24-48 hours.       

• Sibling Discount:  Enroll more than one child and enjoy a 10% sibling discount! (Discount is only applied to students #2,3,4, etc)

• Safe Facilities & Staff:  Our facilities are clean, safe, warm in the winter and cool in the summer.  We have a playroom, kitchen, multiple restrooms, a large indoor lounge with TV, projector and movie screen, a large indoor ballroom for a wide range of activities indoors, plus a large yard and easy access through the bike path to Edison park.  Every classroom has a security camera operating 24 hours a day to ensure the safety of our students and staff.   We practice fire drills, tornado drills and more with our students and staff throughout the year.

• Create an Account
• Enter your Student(s) Name(s), DOB, allergies/medical conditions, etc
• Then select CMI Morning or Afternoon Care from our drop-down list of programs
• Next, you will register your student in the TIME SLOT you want to be able to drop them off and/or pick them up
• The program will NOT allow you to select different times to drop off and pick up each day of the week.  PLEASE NOTE that EDISON requires you to have the SAME location all 5 days of the week that your student is dropped off and/or picked up from - so you MUST select all 5 days worth of care, regardless of the time slots you choose each day.  
• IF you need to have fluctuating drop off or pick up times each week, please still register as stated above, then email the studio the specific schedule you are requesting so that we can try to accommodate your needs at our administrative level

For Example...a family could register for the following:

Morning Care - Elem Child #1 - Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays needing to drop off by 6:20 am (so I enroll in the 6:00 am Elementary School time slot)

Morning Care - Middle School Child #2 - Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays needing to drop off by 6:40 am (so I enroll in the 6:00 am Middle School time slot)

Afternoon Care - Child #1 - Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays needing to pick up 5:30 pm (so I enroll in the 4:00-6:00 time slot)

and no care is needed in the afternoon for Child #2 so I do not enroll them at all for afternoon care

REMEMBER - each student must be enrolled in a minimum of 2 days of either morning or afternoon programming to be eligible to receive programming on the 16+ days that Edison is closed and we are still open!
