Going for Gold

Gold tickets are given out by each instructor at random during class(es).  These tickets are awarded to students that display outstanding achievements in their class. The purpose of Going for Gold is to encourage students to practice outside of class and work on improving their skills as well as encourage them to be good classmates and students in class.

These achievements are not limited to dance, tumbling and singing - but can also be awarded based on determination, teamwork, listening skills, compassion, etc.

Students can also earn Gold Tickets by practicing their class skills and choreography outside of class, recording themselves, and then posting that video to their class Band Group.   

There will be a drawing from our bucket of Golden Tickets 2-3 times per year, in which the students drawn will receive a CMI Boutique gift certificate to spend in the store. 
Drawings will be held Quarterly.

Annual Spirit Award

The CMI Spirit Award will be given Annually

This award is not based on skill or talent but instead the amount of effort, compassion and support that a student exemplifies while engaging in any activities within the CMI studio. 

A nominee will be selected from each instructor and given to our owner, Amanda, whom will make the final decision as to who will receive the award. (Sept thru April)

The winner will be announced and a gift will be awarded to the recipient(s) at the end of the annual Recital during our awards ceremony.
