Our new Dis-Dance Learning Program was designed specifically to provide an option for parents whose child will be attending school online/virtual for all or part of the 2020/2021 school year - and are in need of a safe place for their child to be while they are away.
Our facility and program will provide each student with access to wifi for virtual learning, plenty of desks, tables, chairs, televisions, playroom, library, large yard and indoor "gym" for physical activities during winter months.
We will also be providing instruction in fitness, dance, arts, music and home economics to our students during each of the various class blocks we offer (programs which are currently being cut or drastically reduced in many schools).

THINGS TO NOTE:
1. Our goal is to provide a safe, fun and healthy environment for your child to receive their online/virtual education while also providing them with specialized classes to add to the enrichment of their life, expansion of knowledge and overall mental and physical health and well being....which to us is Priceless!
2. We run all of our classes in 2 hour increments. This allows instructors to ensure students whom have scheduled virtual classes or paper schoolwork during that time will have a chance to participate in BOTH their virtual class AND the CMI in person class during that 2 hour session. (Most online class sessions last 1 hour or less.)
3. We are providing a 6000 sq ft facility consisting of 2 floors, complete with multiple restrooms, kitchenette, library and educational playroom, 5 separate classrooms with options for students to sit at desks, tables, lounge chairs and even offer a QUIET room for those who may need a separate distraction free space for test taking etc.
4. We are not ONLY a Dis-Dance learning facility, but are mainly known for being a facility whom strives to offer products, services and events that can benefit our entire community, adults of all ages and children with special needs. Our facility is also used for art classes, birthday parties, graduations, private events and community events.
5. All supplies for art and music classes are included in the daily/weekly class costs. However, we may (on a couple of occasions throughout the year) ask for parents to send in an item to be used for an individual or group project. However, it is likely these requests will be few and small in cost.
6. We have followed all of the guidelines and recommendations regarding cleaning, disinfecting, distancing, limiting contact and personal items and more throughout our facility to ensure we are doing our best to provide a clean and safe environment for everyone who enters our facility. We also strictly adhere to ADA standards and therefore we will not be enforcing or questioning any student, parent or staff whom elects not to wear a mask. Parents are encouraged to discuss their own mask desires with their children to decide what is best form them. We WILL be asking parents to provide clarification to our staff each week (via your students communication folder we provide) as to your desires for your child that week.
