WHY CHOOSE CMI FOR YOUR FAMILY OVER OTHER STUDIOS - WHAT SETS US APART???
1. Small Class Sizes
We believe students thrive in environments where they receive personalized attention and feel truly seen. That’s why we intentionally keep our class sizes small—no more than 12 students per class, with an average of just 8. This allows our instructors to connect with each student and support their individual growth, both technically and creatively.
2. Age-Appropriate and Conservative Programs
While the world of dance celebrates creativity and expression, we are committed to ensuring all music, choreography, and costumes used in our programs are age-appropriate and family-friendly. Our goal is to provide a positive and respectful environment where students can express themselves confidently—never feeling uncomfortable or exposed to questionable content.
3. A True Family and Community Atmosphere
Unlike many studios that have downsized or removed their waiting areas, we’ve expanded ours to create a welcoming space for families. Our facility features one of the largest waiting rooms in the area, complete with a kitchen, toy room, and free Wi-Fi. We love when families stick around and feel at home here. Plus, our monthly Family Nights are a highlight—an evening of dancing, games, snacks, and fun for the whole crew!
4. All-Adult Staff and Transparent Communication
While we offer mentorship and assistant roles for high school and college students, all of our instructors and administrative staff are adults. This ensures a professional and consistent experience for every class and program. We also prioritize open and accessible communication—you’ll always be able to connect with our receptionist, instructors, or even the studio owner. We want you to feel informed, heard, and confident in your child’s dance journey.
5. Recreational Focus with Competitive Opportunities
Our programs are designed for students who love to dance but may not be looking for a high-pressure, competitive experience. We provide high-quality training that matches what you'd find at a competitive studio, but with a flexible, recreational focus—allowing students time for other interests. For those who wish to explore the competitive side, we do offer private lessons and the chance to participate in competitions through solos, duets, and trios. Every student, regardless of path, receives the same dedication and attention both in and out of the classroom.
