Competition Classes
Competition placements and auditions will be held in EARLY SUMMER each season.
Those interested in participating in our upcoming CMI Competition Dance Team be sure to check back in mid to late Spring for our exact audition dates and times.
NOTE: Competition team members will be required to take specific competition classes in addition to any recreational classes they would like to take during the SUMMER & FALL CLASS SEASON.
Some of the classes for competition members that are REQUIRED will be classes such as Dancers Skills and Conditioning. These classes are especially recommended for serious dancers who put in an average of 4+ hours a week in dance classes to strengthen the core and help to prevent injuries.
Solo, Duet and Trios will be required to take additional lessons with an instructor assigned to them to rehearse their competition numbers.
These rehearsals are NOT the same as a Private Lesson - which is strictly for technique - these rehearsals will be specifically geared towards competition number rehearsals. You will be required to pay a separate fee, per private lesson, directly to the instructor.
